Shah Rukh Khan in hospitalised

NEW DELHI: Bollywood entertainer Shah Rukh Khan was hospitalized because of heatstroke on Thursday evening, PTI announced.

The whiz was confessed to the K D Medical clinic in Ahmedabad. The multi-speciality medical clinic has not yet given an explanation about Khan's medical issue.

Khan was in Ahmedabad on Tuesday to go to an Indian Chief Association (IPL) match between his Kolkata Knight Riders (KKR) and the Sunrisers Hyderabad at the Narendra Modi Arena.

"Khan is as yet going through treatment at the clinic. He might get released today," Ahmedabad (Provincial) Administrator of Police Om Prakash Jat said, per the Indian Express.

Khan's director Pooja Dadlani imparted an update to the star's fans on Thursday evening. In an Instagram Story, she said thanks to Khan's well-wishers, stating, "To Khan's all's fans and well-wishers — he's getting along nicely. Much thanks to you for your affection, petitions and concern."

A few pieces of Gujarat have been impacted by a serious heatwave. According to the India Meteorological Office (IMD), there was a heatwave in Ahmedabad on Tuesday and Wednesday with the greatest recorded temperatures being 45.2 and 45.9 degrees Celsius separately.

Recordings shared by the authority X record of KKR showed Khan commending his group's triumph with an honorable lap, close by his kids Suhana Khan and AbRam Khan. The entertainer additionally welcomed fans and players at the arena.
